The Municipality of McCreary has received several complaints about dog and cat owners who let their animals roam freely and defecate on private and public property without cleaning up.
Pet owners are reminded that it is their responsibility to clean up after their dog or cat and to carry a bag while walking their animal to ensure any mess is promptly cleaned.
Furthermore, pet owners must not allow their animals to be off their property unless under the immediate charge and control of a responsible person. The Council of the Municipality of McCreary appreciates your cooperation in these matters.
